The Gulon

The Gulon is a carnivorous monster of Scandinavian descent. It is also found in Germany and is known by a different name, call Jerff. Witnesses described it as a hodgepodge of various known animals, like its size and shape is slightly larger than that of a dog, possibly about the size of an Alsatian. It has feline features with razor-sharp teeth and claws and a thick coat of shaggy fur making it look much larger & menacing especially after feasting on its victims.

Its also notorious for its association with gluttony as it has a insatiable appetite that is non-comparable amongst most of the recorded monsters. The Gulon is also a fearless and ferocious creature as it is known to kill animals twice its size, though sometimes it would feast on carrions or will even make multiple kills for animals similar or smaller in size. It would then scout for two suitable trees where it will then drag its victims to that location & gorge on it till its belly swells like a huge balloon and till its distended. It will then crawl its way to the two trees and lodge its bloated belly between the trees and force itself to defecate what it has eaten. The gluttonous creature will return to the carcasses and continue feasting on it and repeat its unusual eating habits till there is no more meat on its victims.

Long ago, the Sami people, the indigenous natives of Sweden would hunt the gulon
not just because it poses a threat to the reindeers which they are herding but also the aphrodisiac properties of its blood. The blood is such a priced item that the Sami people would only serve it to their most distinguished guest on a wedding. They would also sew the hides of the gulon with reindeer sinews and use it as clothing in winter. Its said that the shaggy fur of the gulon is as soft as cashmere but much more warmer than Merino wool.
Some sceptics have argued that the gulon is nothing more than an exaggerated version of a wolverine.
